Biography:
This story begins nearly a decade ago, upon maturity he crawled out from under his technologic rock and observed a simple pattern being beamed to him by glowsticks. As if he had been struk by lighting a desion was made that has guided him down his current path. While if in the beginning it was all about becoming the best, enthusiasm and zeal tempered creativity and ingenuity.
Starting from the very first time glowsticks gave way to fire a cast of characters were waiting to be met. Just a few years later introductions to Kurt and Schuyler began what has grown to become the Ohio Burn Unit. In the begining nights of staying up spinning the same Poi until the sun rose demanded change into a constaintly evolving skill toy creation. Weekend after weekend of crazy contraption after oddball idea eventually begain to gather spectators. Shows today can number in the thousands. Knagi and the Ohio Burn Unit have since gained international recognition after setting the Guinness World Record by walking seventeen emulsified friends into the book for forty seconds.
His role in all this has been the creative drive of the Burn Unit constantly brainstorming and following through with ideas that others consider to be far fetched. From six foot long chains with a wick affixed every foot, to giant six tipped yo-yos his ability to master the unwieldy toys is unmatched. A few of his ideas include a solid steel cross able to knock any performer unconscious with a single swing, Double Nun-chucks both handles aflame only inches from his hands, double six foot whips snapping sound in every direction around him.
On his second experience at Burning Man attending a workshop cracked open a door into propane. A deep seated fear kept him in the back of the class, however after a year of research gradual understanding of its properties, possibilities began to unlock. Starting with a simple pipe with two valves a curve identical to the fire toy progression ensued. Bubbles and balloons, poufs and pops, jets and giant towers, to tiny tubes, tornados, horns and whistles, cumulating in a massive effect dubbed the Mass Burn Unit. If you want to set something on fire, set Knagi to the task.
