For those not familiar with this physically intensive old school variety of performance art, envision a dark beach populated by festival-goers craving mind-bending entertainment that goes beyond the typical fare. Then imagine flaming ropes or burning, welded metal swinging in mesmerizing patterns, etching fast-paced orange trails on your retinas. Regardless of one's state of mind, the skills of the various Ohio Burn Unit performers - each of whom offered a unique style - were truly impressive.
